Congregational singing is more than music before a sermon. When the church sings, we confess truth together, remind one another of the gospel, and give voice to our shared hope in Christ.
These are the truths we are singing together this week.

Our God Is For Us
We begin by reminding one another where Christian confidence comes from. We do not gather because our lives are easy or because we have everything figured out. We gather because God has acted for His people in Christ, and nothing can finally separate us from His love.
Key Truth: Because we belong to Christ, we can face fear and uncertainty with confidence in God's unfailing love.

Behold Our God
Before we focus on ourselves, our circumstances, or even the needs of our church, we turn our attention toward God Himself. He is the eternal Creator, sovereign King, and incomparable Lord who alone deserves our worship.
Key Truth: God alone is sovereign, incomparable, and worthy of the worship of His people.

All Sufficient Merit
The Christian's confidence before God does not rest on our performance. We stand before Him because the righteousness and saving work of Jesus are sufficient for us. We bring nothing that improves upon what Christ has already accomplished.
Key Truth: Our acceptance before God rests completely in the finished work and righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Christ Our Hope in Life and Death
We leave this morning confessing where our ultimate hope is found. Whether life is comfortable or difficult, whether we live or die, Christians belong to Jesus. Our future is secure because Christ has risen and will raise His people with Him.
Key Truth: Our sure hope in both life and death is that we belong to the risen Christ.
